Introducing...$5 Feral Friday!!

Every Friday we will post our Paypal button on Facebook for those wishing to donate $5. The money will be used to spay/ neuter the feral kitties that we try to help.

Each feral cat costs approximately $80 to be on the road to good health. We TNR (trap, neuter and return ) our feral friends along with shots and other meds as needed: flea treatment, ear mite treatment, deworming, etc. Many of us have been helping the feral cats for a long time on our own and and it tends to get difficult: we try to socialize the kittens and find them permanent homes plus take care of feral colonies by feeding and TNR.

If you would like to financially support us with our cause; please participate in $5 Feral Fridays. You can donate using the "$5 Feral Friday" Paypal link on our website OR through our Facebook page (Homes for Orphaned Pets Exist)

Thank you for your support!

Open your home to the joy of fostering!

The rewards are great. Yes, it takes a very special person to be a foster. These animals work their way into your heart and then, you have to let them go. If you have the strength to do this, you are rewarded ten-fold by the knowledge that you give your charges, these innocent dogs or cats, a chance at life. HOPE relies almost entirely on fosters for our rescue activities. We are always looking for new recruits as there are always more animals in need of rescue. Several local shelters often contact HOPE when they have animals with poor prospects in the shelter for any number of reasons. In some cases, when we are unable to accept these animals due to the lack of available fosters, they are euthanized. Take a look at our "Available Dogs" and "Available Cats" on our website. All of these animals have HOPE fosters to thank for their new lives. We quite literally could not save these animals without you. Please consider fostering for HOPE.

You can fill out a foster application online by clicking Online Foster Application or, you call 518.428.2994 for more information.

Once you have applied and been accepted, our Foster Care Agreement will need to be signed. You can view that here: Foster Care Agreement.

Homes for Orphaned Pets Exist is not just our name. It is our mission.

H.O.P.E. relies on donations from caring individuals to continue our life saving work. We also have fundraisers throughout the year to help with the many expenses incurred.

What Is H.O.P.E.?

Foster and Adoption Program

Homes for Orphaned Pets Exist (H.O.P.E.) is a not for profit 501(c)(3) organization of volunteers from Saratoga and surrounding counties of New York State. We are dedicated to assisting previously abandoned, orphaned and neglected animals. Homes for Orphaned Pets Exist does not have a shelter or facility.  We give these homeless animals a second chance for a wonderful life; to be part of a family, to be a therapy pet, or just to be someone’s best friend. Our ultimate goal is to find suitable adopters who will provide them with a lifelong commitment of love and care.

All H.O.P.E. pets are seen by a local veterinarian prior to adoption. All animals are given appropriate medical care, including de-worming, spaying/neutering, and vaccinations, and our veterinarians will provide additional medical treatment if needed. And we often pay for medical care for shelter pets who must remain at the shelter, when the shelter cannot afford treatment. H.O.P.E. relies on donations from caring individuals to continue our life saving work. We also have fundraisers throughout the year to help with the many expenses incurred. All donations are tax deductible.

Homes for Orphaned Pets Exist is not just our name. It is our mission.
