Two cats came to us a year and a half ago. They were stray cats who decided, after some time, to move in and stay. We had them both fixed and they got their shots.
The black and white one is a male, we call him Mush. The smaller calico cat is a female she is Miss Kitty. We think they are around three years old.
They go in and out all day if I’m there to open the door for them. At night I always have them inside. They use the litter box.
Both of them love to be played with, string is their favorite toy. We have a fishing pole with string at the end witch they love. They don’t like being in the lap but love snuggling next to you. Many times they sleep in the bed with us.
The two are best friends and we think they shouldn’t be separated.
Mush is very shy towards “new people” and won’t let you pet him until he gets to know you. He loves to be petted especially on his big neck and head. When I’m outside gardening he will follow me around. Miss Kitty is not shy. She will throw herself in front of you for attention to be petted. Both of them are wonderful cats. They come running to greet you in the morning and when we come home.
We would love to keep them, but are moving to live on our boat and travel to other countries where veterinary documents and vet visits would be difficult to arrange and for the cats difficult to adjust to boat life.
Please contact me if you would like to adopt these wonderful cats.
